On February 3, 2026, an open tennis training session for war veterans was held at the Panorama Tennis Club, organized by the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Odesa City Council in collaboration with the NGO «Free Warriors».

This event marked the beginning of a larger initiative aimed at providing regular tennis and adaptive tennis training for veterans in the city of Odesa.

The inaugural tennis session for veterans in our city was made possible through the financial support of sports organizations as part of the City Target Program «Development of Physical Culture and Sports in Odesa from 2024 to 2028».

The project is based on the principle of "equal to equal," where veterans themselves determine their priorities and needs in adaptive sports.

All organizational and communication efforts were carried out by members of the community and veterans, with resource support provided by the city authorities.
