Port Infrastructure in Odesa Targeted: Casualties and Safety Alerts

The enemy struck the port infrastructure of Odesa with two ballistic missiles today.

This was reported by the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration Oleg Kiper.

As a result of the attack, one port worker lost their life.

Eight individuals were injured, with four in critical condition, two in moderate condition, and two with minor injuries. Medical personnel are providing all necessary assistance.

I urge residents and guests of Odesa to respond to air raid alerts and, when announced, to promptly head to shelters!  - called Oleg Kiper.

According to the Deputy Prime Minister for the Restoration of Ukraine, Minister for Community and Territorial Development Oleksii Kuleba, the attack caused damage to the engine room, shattered windows and doors in administrative buildings, and destroyed vehicles and equipment.

It was an ordinary workday at a regular Ukrainian port. People were working, machinery was unloading containers. There were no military objects—only civilian infrastructure. Russia has once again targeted a peaceful, strategically important facility that is vital for global food security,  - noted Kuleba.
