Odessa Faces Another Night of Drone Attacks

Another harrowing night for Odessa: the enemy launched a significant attack on the city using strike drones.

This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

The most damage occurred to a nine-story building, with apartments from the fifth to the eighth floors destroyed and fires reported on the fifth and sixth floors of one of the entrances.

Five individuals were rescued from blocked apartments, and 33 residents were evacuated.

Psychologists from the State Emergency Service and the National Police provided support to local residents.

Search dogs were deployed at the scene to locate potential victims.

The debris removal efforts are complicated by the risk of structural collapse, highlighted by a specialized seismographic device monitoring the movement of the damaged building elements.

A Resilience Point was established by the State Emergency Service near the building.

Efforts to address the aftermath are ongoing.

Rescuers also worked to mitigate impacts at other locations, where fires occurred in a private house and at a gas station.

According to preliminary information, three individuals were injured.

The State Emergency Service deployed 26 units of equipment and 112 rescuers.
