A drone attack has inflicted damage on the assets of the «Infoksvodokanal» branch in Odesa.

This was reported by the «Infoksvodokanal» branch.

The Russian «Shahed» drones targeted the vehicle repair workshops and the storage area for special equipment, resulting in damage to multiple vehicles. Most of the affected units belonged to our repair teams, used for reaching accident sites and transporting necessary tools. Additionally, an excavator, water tankers, and sludge pumps were damaged. The repair shop, as well as the auto electricians’ and mechanics’ areas, were completely destroyed along with their equipment.

The consequences could have been much more severe if not for the prompt actions of our drivers and mechanics. They immediately began extinguishing the flames with the water tankers before the emergency services arrived, preventing further destruction of equipment and evacuating surviving vehicles.

Although there has been significant damage, thankfully, none of our employees were injured. Restoring the equipment and repair facilities will take some time. Following this attack, the logistics and operations of the water utility's emergency teams will be somewhat complicated.
