On the night of July 28, Ukrainian air defense successfully intercepted 309 drones out of 324 launched, along with two X-101 cruise missiles.

This was reported by the Command of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on social media.

The enemy launched an attack using 331 air assault means, including 324 drones, 4 cruise missiles, and 3 ballistic missiles.

The attack was conducted using 324 Shahed-type strike drones and various other UAVs, launched from directions including Bryansk, Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo, Shatalovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk (RF).

Four X-101 cruise missiles were launched from the airspace of the Saratov region, while three Kinzhal X-47 M2 ballistic missiles were fired from the Lipetsk region.

The primary target of the attack was Staro Konstantinov in the Khmelnytskyi region.

Ukrainian aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups effectively countered the aerial assault.

According to preliminary data as of 09:30, air defense forces shot down 311 enemy air attack means: 309 drones and two X-101 cruise missiles.

Two missiles of different types and 15 strike drones were recorded hitting three locations, along with debris falling in several areas.

“The Kinzhal X-47 M2 ballistic missiles did not reach their targets!” emphasized the Air Forces.
