Power Outages on Railways Due to Attacks

As a result of Russian strikes on September 25, the railway experienced power outages in several areas. Train operations are currently being managed with backup diesel locomotives, as reported by "Ukrzaliznytsia" on their Facebook page.

According to officials from Ukrzaliznytsia, there are no reported injuries, but the infrastructure has sustained significant damage.

As of 08:00, train movement continues under the management of backup diesel locomotives, but delays are being recorded for the following trains:

  • #53/54 Odesa-Glavna - Dnipro-Glavny (+5:09);
  • #253/254 Odesa-Glavna - Kryvyi Rih-Glavny (+5:09);
  • #7/8 Odesa-Glavna - Kharkiv-Pas. (+4:47);
  • #147/148 Kyiv-Pas. - Odesa-Glavna (+2:01);
  • #127/128 Lviv - Zaporizhzhia-1 (+1:18);
  • #31/32 Przemysl - Zaporizhzhia-1 (+1:17);
  • #51/52 Zaporizhzhia-1 - Odesa-Glavna (+1:10);
  • #91/92 Odesa-Glavna - Kramatorsk (+1:02).

Power outages have also occurred on certain sections of the railway in the Mykolaiv and Kirovohrad regions due to the attacks.
