On November 4th, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense announced a significant achievement in an operation carried out in the so-called 'grey zone' near the former Kakhovka Reservoir.
The operation was conducted by the 'Brotherhood' unit, part of the 'Timur' special forces.
Within this mission, executed in the area of 'Velyki Kuchuhury', located 7 km from the shoreline, the GUR operatives located and eliminated two Russian invaders.
'Our fighters raised the blue-and-yellow flag over the islands, taking control of the area,' the statement said.
Earlier, GUR personnel captured three radar stations and a landing craft of the Russians in Crimea.
