Odessa's Collaboration with Atlantic Council: New Perspectives

The Mayor of Odessa, Gennadiy Trukhanov, met with representatives from the Atlantic Council.

This influential non-governmental organization in the USA focuses on researching international relations, security challenges, and ways to strengthen transatlantic cooperation. The Atlantic Council was established to promote stable partnerships between North America and Europe, rooted in the aftermath of World War II.

The American guests expressed unequivocal support for Ukraine, emphasizing that most U.S. citizens, regardless of political preferences, stand by the Ukrainian people. The discussion addressed the situation in Odessa during the war, challenges for local governance, and global political dynamics.

The role of European partners in the peace process and ensuring Ukraine's security was notably highlighted. The USA remains a key player, exerting significant influence on international pressure regarding Russian aggression.

«The meeting confirmed unwavering support for Ukraine on the international stage and our partners' readiness for further collaboration», commented Gennadiy Trukhanov.
