Visit of European Delegates to Odesa

Last week, Odesa welcomed a delegation from Europe, including Ms. Katarina Maternova, the EU ambassador to Ukraine, and Kristina Mikulova, head of the European Investment Bank's regional office in Eastern Europe.

During their working visit, the delegation learned about the operations of the rolling stock repair workshops of KP 'Odesmiskelektrotrans' and toured the electric transport museum, where they received an informative guided tour.

Last year, under the 'Ukrainian Urban Public Transport' project, funded by the European Investment Bank, multi-section Tatra tram cars were purchased.

These trams currently serve route No. 7, providing comfortable transportation for Odesa residents.

During the meeting, they discussed the implementation of current and future initiatives aimed at modernizing urban transport, enhancing its efficiency and sustainability.

This visit marked a significant step in strengthening the partnership between Odesa, the European Union, and the European Investment Bank in the field of sustainable urban development.
