Enhanced Accessibility: Inclusive Terminals in Odessa
The Odessa City Council has implemented inclusive information terminals to improve access to administrative services.
On January 30, 2025, the city stage of the XXIV All-Ukrainian Student Creativity Competition titled «Let Us Unite, My Brothers!» took place in Odesa for students in grades 5-11 from general secondary education institutions in the categories of «Literature» and «History of Ukraine and State Building».
This year, the epigraph for the creative works was taken from the words of Taras Shevchenko: «Our thought, our song will not die, will not perish… There is where, people, our glory, Glory of Ukraine!», and the theme of the works was «Creating for the Future».
A total of 63 students from grades 6-11 of municipal educational institutions in Odesa participated in the competition.
The jury noted that all works were infused with patriotism and pride for Ukraine's heroic past and present. The authors revealed the processes of development and renewal of various aspects of national culture, their role in the struggle for the independence of the Ukrainian state, and the preservation of positive achievements from previous years.
Special attention was paid to the contributions of prominent regional artists and scholars to the cultural life of Ukraine.
In the category of «History of Ukraine and State Building», the jury highlighted the logical presentation of material, research character, and the participants' ability to work with historical sources. In the «Literature» category, students provided a variety of creative works (essays, stories, poetry).
Based on the jury's decision, the winners of the city stage of the XXIV All-Ukrainian Student Creativity Competition were determined and awarded diplomas from the Department of Education and Science of the Odesa City Council. Teachers who prepared the winners were also thanked.
