In Odessa, an innovative Museum of Memory has been established, serving as a reminder of the tragic events of the past. This city, like many others, holds the history of the Holocaust, and it is essential to honor those who fell victim to these horrific times. Through museum exhibitions, displays, and educational lessons, we pass this memory on to future generations, as it is part of our shared history.
Last year, a unique memorial area was created in Odessa, dedicated to the genocide of various nations. Here, a team works to preserve and convey human stories, infused with the spirit of enlightenment.
The Museum of Genocide is located in the post office building at 10 Sadova Street.
On January 27, 2025, the global community will commemorate the tragic events as it marks 80 years since the liberation of the Auschwitz concentration camp. This day has been designated as the Day of Remembrance for the Victims of the Holocaust and for the Prevention of Crimes Against Humanity.
