International Children's Games in Tallinn 2025
The 57th International Children's Games will take place in Tallinn with the participation of a team from Odessa.
Autumn rains and strong winds present additional challenges for municipal services. Workers are actively engaged in maintaining order on the streets of the city.
In Odesa, 8 crews from the Municipal Enterprise «City Roads» are working to ensure proper drainage of rainwater. They are clearing storm drains from fallen leaves and debris washed in by rain.
Today, 46 units of specialized equipment and 328 workers are involved in these efforts.
Regular cleaning of the stormwater drainage systems is carried out manually and using heavy machinery from the «City Roads» enterprise, including excavators, graders, and special equipment for flushing pipes.
Additionally, workers from «Housing and Utility Services» are cleaning drainage grates near buildings and removing fallen leaves and debris from their designated areas.
About 180 employees from the «City Green Trust» maintain the order of the city’s green spaces. Due to the bad weather, 3 trees have already been knocked down, and many small branches have been broken.
Green workers are engaged in cutting down and removing fallen trees and branches, as well as sweeping and collecting fallen leaves from parks and squares.
