In Odessa, the Patrol Police have identified 25 critical intersections that significantly affect road safety in the city. 

During emergency power outages (blackouts), the Municipal Enterprise «SMEP» works together with the Patrol Police to monitor the status of traffic lights. 

All major intersections are equipped with large uninterruptible power supplies, ensuring that traffic lights operate autonomously (with a full charge) for 4 to 8 hours. 

If necessary, the Municipal Enterprise «SMEP» replaces batteries, and in emergencies, collaborates with the Department of Transport, Communications, and Traffic Organization to connect generators to maintain traffic light operations. 

During battery replacements and generator connections, the Patrol Police manage traffic at the intersections. 

Drivers are urged to remain vigilant and adhere to traffic regulations.
