The heating season is about to begin in Odesa. Experts from the municipal enterprise «Housing and Communal Services» are finalizing preparations for the central heating systems in residential buildings.

Right after the end of the previous heating season in spring 2024, the municipal enterprise «Housing and Communal Services» commenced preparations for the 2024-2025 heating season.

As part of the preparation, specialists are conducting necessary repairs and preventive maintenance on the thermal energy utilization equipment, as well as checking the metering and regulating devices for heat energy.

Employees of the municipal enterprise «HCS» are also engaged in flushing the systems, checking the sealing of engineering inputs, and restoring thermal insulation.

Specialists have conducted hydraulic tests of the centralized heating systems, adjusted the heat consumption systems, and performed a number of other necessary tasks to ensure uninterrupted heating in residential buildings.

After completing maintenance work, the systems are filled with chemically purified water under pressure, and the inlet valves are closed.

As the heating season begins, plumbers will sequentially open the valves of the central heating systems in the buildings, which usually takes some time, after which heat will start to flow into the residents' homes.
