Health and Wellness Day for Military Personnel

Last week, in Odesa, a Health and Wellness Day was organized to honor the defenders of Ukraine, focusing on the physical and mental well-being of military personnel, veterans, and their families. This event was supported by the Odesa City Health Department and the local health center.

Throughout the day, medical professionals conducted comprehensive health screenings, measuring blood pressure and blood glucose levels, as well as performing ECG tests for soldiers, veterans, and their family members. Referrals to specialists and laboratory tests were provided when necessary.

To assess the mental health of participants, they were referred to psychological consultations as part of the nationwide mental health program "How are you?" to receive free psychological assistance.

At the end of the event, 408 individuals underwent health screenings, with all having their blood pressure and glucose levels measured. A total of 136 ECG tests were performed. 103 cases of health issues were identified, with patients directed to specialists and laboratory tests. Additionally, 84 psychological consultations were provided.
