Restoration of the Building in Odesa After Missile Strike
The building on Serednia Street, 24 in Odesa has been restored following a missile strike. All work has been completed.
A major scientific-practical conference focusing on medical rehabilitation has commenced in Odessa. The event is organized with the participation of the Odessa National Medical University and the Rehabilitation Management Association.
For two days, leading experts will discuss pressing issues related to rehabilitation services in Southern Ukraine, including: the implementation of a patient-centered approach in rehabilitation within cluster hospitals, collaboration between medical and non-medical rehabilitation service providers, the development of adaptive sports and physical rehabilitation, the provision of technical rehabilitation aids, and social support measures.
The Director of the Odessa City Health Department, Levon Nikogosyan, spoke about the establishment of a unified rehabilitation service system in the city.
Comprehensive care involves the active engagement of health facilities of various ownership forms, social services, sports organizations, and NGOs. Eight medical institutions in the city host multidisciplinary rehabilitation teams, and a separate department has been created within the Health Department for effective coordination of these teams.
Odessa's medical institutions have signed agreements with the National Health Service of Ukraine, allowing them to provide outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation, as well as psychological support free of charge under the state medical guarantees program.
Medical professionals in Odessa continuously adopt the best practices from Ukraine and around the world to implement innovative rehabilitation technologies and methods in the city's healthcare facilities.
