On November 24, 2024, at 14:00, the final tour of the exhibition «Revival» will take place at the Odesa Municipal Museum of Private Collections named after O.V. Bleschunov. 

This memorial exhibition is dedicated to the memory of the notable Odessa painter and graphic artist Alexander Yosypovych Shkuropat (1964—2008). 

The tour will be led by Eduard Ratushnyak, an Odessa journalist and admirer of Alexander Shkuropat's work.

The exhibition «Revival» at the Bleschunov House features paintings from the series: «Odessa and its surroundings», «City of Fish», «My Ukraine», «The Abduction of Europe». Additionally, the audience will see for the first time the artist's personal works, left for himself and his family.

«Shkuropat was among the few who decisively rejected socialist realism in painting and added a fresh breath to decorative folklore, emphasizing the importance of Ukrainian culture and history in Odessa», — shares Eduard Ratushnyak.
