The Friedehorst Foundation, located in Bremen, is renowned for its long-standing commitment to supporting individuals with disabilities across all age groups, as well as the elderly. This organization exemplifies an innovative approach to providing social services, adaptation, and rehabilitation.

     During our visit, we gained insight into the operations of various departments within the foundation, particularly those specializing in care for individuals with disabilities, rehabilitation programs for children and adults, and modern methods of elderly support.

     For our region, especially Odesa, this experience is invaluable as we strive to enhance accessibility and create favorable conditions for the social integration of all population groups. We discussed opportunities for collaboration in knowledge exchange, implementation of advanced rehabilitation technologies, and development of training programs for professionals working with individuals with disabilities.

     We also focused on issues related to the development of long-term strategies to support socially vulnerable groups, which could be adapted to our regional context.

     We express our gratitude to our colleagues at Friedehorst for their openness and willingness to share their accomplishments. Collaborating with such organizations is a crucial step toward improving the quality of life for residents of the Odesa region.
