A round table was held in Odessa focusing on the theme: “Creating a Favorable Environment for Young Veterans and IDPs’ Businesses”. Participants included local government representatives, veteran organizations, and employment specialists.

The primary discussion revolved around employment and business development for veterans. Emphasis was placed on support options available from both state and local initiatives.

Success stories of projects aiding veterans were highlighted. Through hackathons and training sessions, over 50 veterans received financial support and guidance for launching their business ideas. These initiatives were made possible with funding from the European Union and various NGOs such as “Time to Act”, “Smart Media”, “Ukrainian Veterans”, and “SOS Ukraine”.

Odessa region is actively developing new support programs, engaging international resources and partners to foster veteran entrepreneurship.

Improving conditions for veterans and IDPs is a crucial investment in Ukraine's future.
