Metropolitan Epiphanius Visits Odesa Region

His Beatitude Metropolitan Epiphanius made a significant visit to the Odesa region, engaging with local residents.

In Odesa, the Metropolitan, alongside Archbishop Athanasius, visited medical facilities where defenders injured in combat are receiving treatment.

«Your presence in our region is crucial for the faith of our citizens. The Church serves as a pillar for those defending our homeland. Your dedication to serving God makes the Orthodox Church of Ukraine a true spiritual refuge for our people», – noted Oleg Radkovskyi in his address.

At the ceremonial meeting, the Metropolitan awarded representatives of the government and military with ecclesiastical honors for their contribution to the spiritual revival of Ukraine.

In his speech to the attendees, His Beatitude Metropolitan shared his views on the spiritual security of Ukraine and the vital role of the Church in society, discussing attempts by aggressors to manipulate religious issues.
