New Fountain Unveiled in Odesa's Theater Square

Officials from the Municipal Enterprise «Service Center» have proudly announced the launch of a new fountain that has quickly become a favorite among locals.  Located in Theater Square, adjacent to the Odesa Opera House, this fountain is regarded as one of the city’s most beautiful water features.

This spring, preparations are underway to open 15 out of 27 fountains managed by the enterprise.

Currently, fountains are already bubbling in the City Garden as well as in the Market and Theater Squares.

The city workers aim to have other fountains operational by May 5th.

Fountains will be available from 9 AM to 9 PM.

However, due to their high energy consumption, some fountains in Odesa are not operational under the current martial law. Additionally, since the onset of the war, 4 fountains in the UNESCO zone have been completely shut down: the memorial fountain for the victims of German-Romanian fascists, the «Petya and Gavrik» fountain, the «Youth» fountain (known as «Children and the Frog»), and the well-fountain «Source».
