The Podil community has unveiled a cutting-edge mobile power source, consisting of a diesel generator, photovoltaic system, and batteries. This equipment will enhance the community’s resilience during power outages.
This was announced by the Odesa Regional State Administration.
In case of power failures or damage to the electrical grid, the mobile unit can quickly supply electricity to essential facilities.
With a capacity to support up to 5,000 subscribers, the unit will ensure the operation of hospitals, schools, and other critical infrastructures in crisis situations.
In the future, such units could be deployed across the Odesa region, establishing a network of mobile energy solutions for communities.
“The issue of energy security is becoming a key priority. Odesa region, as a strategically important area, demonstrates how collaborative efforts can not only respond to current threats but also lay the foundation for a sustainable future,” stated the Regional Administration.
