For the third consecutive day, Ukraine reports an increase in electricity consumption.

This was announced by "Ukrenergo".

According to their data, on April 9 at 9:30, the level of electricity consumption was 1.1% higher than the same time the previous day - Tuesday.

The company explains that this is due to the persistent cold weather across Ukraine, which includes nighttime frosts.

It is noted that on April 8, the daily maximum consumption was recorded in the evening, which was 2% higher than the maximum of the previous day - Monday, April 7.

"Today, it is essential to conserve electricity. Please limit the use of heavy electrical appliances from 8:00 to 21:00," stressed "Ukrenergo".

As a reminder:

In Ukraine, due to a significant drop in temperature, on the morning of April 7, electricity consumption was 16% higher than the level of the previous working day - April 4.

On April 8, electricity consumption continued to remain high. As of 9:30, the consumption level was 2.3% higher than the same time the previous day - Monday.

"Ukrenergo" refuted information about the possible return of power outages.
