In the village of Ostrivne, part of the Suvorov community in the Izmail district, a dairy farm construction project is set to commence this autumn, with a total investment exceeding 35 million UAH. The project will be funded through foreign investments.

The future dairy farm

Currently, the design and permitting documentation for the dairy farm in Ostrivne is being developed. The first phase involves building a barn for 200 cows, which will be tended by a team of 21 individuals. In the second phase, within three to four years, plans are in place to launch a milk processing plant, aimed at creating a proprietary brand in the Odessa region.

Funding the project

A foreign investor intends to spend 35 million UAH to renovate existing buildings of the local farm covering six hectares. The new enterprise is expected to begin operations in about a year and a half, initially working with processing plants in the Odessa region.
