This article discusses the aftermath of the drone attack on the city and the efforts made by various organizations to assist the victims.
«Restoration of Historical Doors in Odessa» has undertaken restoration efforts on the entrance of the building located at the intersection of Ukrainian Heroes Avenue and Jewish Street.
This information was provided by representatives of «Restoration of Historical Doors in Odessa».
The building at 48 Jewish Street was constructed in 1893 based on the design of architect A. D. Todorov, and was remodeled in 1900-1901 by architects Yu. M. Dmytrenko and V. A. Koropovskyi for the needs of the Protection Church. It housed the apartments of a church minister and a parochial school.
The doors of the building were in a deplorable condition.
As a result, «Restoration of Historical Doors in Odessa» recreated the missing wooden decorative elements, restored the wrought iron grilles, and also recreated the lost vestibule plank. They returned symmetry and proportions to the doors, as well as authentic bolts and handles. To protect the lower part of the doors, brass plates were installed to shield the wood from moisture and mechanical damage.
