Fire Breaks Out in Odessa Warehouse: Quick Response

A fire erupted in a warehouse in Odessa, posing a risk of spreading flames. Quick action by firefighters prevented severe consequences.

According to the Emergency Service, the incident occurred on May 14 in the Peresyp district. The blaze started on the top floor of a four-story building where office equipment was stored. Thanks to the swift response from rescue services, the fire was contained.

"An expert team is on-site to determine the cause of the fire. Thankfully, there were no casualties or injuries. Nine units of equipment and 38 firefighters were deployed, along with one unit and three personnel from the municipal rescue service," the report stated.
