Celebrating Embroidery Day in Odesa

On May 15, Odesa celebrated Embroidery Day, with around 50 participants marching through the city center carrying a large Ukrainian flag. During the parade, they sang the national anthem and popular Ukrainian songs. «This event is a sign of our unity; we are all in embroidered shirts, celebrating Embroidery Day together. Additionally, we saw many people strolling the streets in their traditional attire,» said the organizer of the event, head of the ethnic group «Lehit», Hanna Panina.
