Night Attack on Odesa: Damage to Residential Building
A residential building in Odesa was damaged due to a night attack. Details of the incident and information about casualties.
The Turkish company Baykar has launched an upgraded version of its renowned unmanned aerial vehicle, known as the Bayraktar TB2T-AI. According to ArmyInform, the new drone has already completed its initial operational tests and set several records.
This modernization features a new turboprop engine and the integration of advanced artificial intelligence systems, significantly enhancing the UAV's flight capabilities, increasing its autonomy, and expanding its combat capabilities. The drone is equipped with three new computers powered by advanced AI, allowing it to autonomously analyze, detect, and identify targets.
The updated Bayraktar TB2T-AI is capable of executing autonomous takeoffs and landings, visually recognizing runways, determining optimal flight paths, and conducting dynamic route planning. With its cutting-edge AI systems, it can navigate challenging terrains even under electronic interference conditions. In emergency situations, the intelligent system of the drone can now automatically return the craft to base, greatly improving its survivability.
Reports indicate that this UAV can ascend to altitudes exceeding 9000 meters in less than 30 minutes, and during recent tests, it set a record by reaching an altitude of 9250 meters. Despite the increased takeoff weight and payload, it has also achieved an extended flight range of 27 hours. Additional improvements include:
Regarding combat payload, the Bayraktar TB2T-AI can carry MAM-C laser-guided bombs as well as MAM-L weighing 22 kg and a range of 15 km. The newest type of weapon consists of miniature cruise missiles called "Kemankesh," capable of eliminating threats from a distance of 200 km.
To date, Baykar has produced around 800 drones of this type, with exports to 36 countries worldwide. The production capacity allows for the manufacturing of one drone per day.
With its powerful new engine, high speed, and intelligent autonomous flight capabilities, the Bayraktar TB2T-AI is poised to become one of the top UAVs in its class.
