In Odessa, specialists from the municipal enterprise «Service Center» have completed updates on several city fountains.

As part of routine maintenance for the fountains in Theater and Train Station squares, planned tasks included cleaning nozzles, external filters, and checking the pump’s operation and chemical levels.

Additionally, the staff regularly performs cleaning of the fountain basins, removing debris from the water, cleaning the external filters, and maintaining the water levels.

The technicians also refurbished the fountain «Corner of Old Odessa» located on Gogol Street, where they repaired the basin, painted it, fixed decorative damages, and conducted technical maintenance of the equipment.

The Odessa City Council reminds everyone about the importance of caring for community property. Swimming in the fountains, washing pets, or throwing trash into the fountain basins is strictly prohibited. Due to acts of vandalism, fountains may often cease operation for necessary repairs. Furthermore, it is important to adhere to safety rules and avoid contact with fountain water, as it is treated with special chemicals to prevent blooming.
