Tribute to Healthcare Workers in Ukraine
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky expressed gratitude to healthcare workers for their dedication during wartime.
Key Highlights:
Odesa has joined the cities with a new recruitment center for the Armed Forces.
This center is part of a network that already includes Kyiv, Lviv, and Dnipro. It was established in 2024 at the initiative of the Ministry of Defense and the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces to simplify the enlistment process. This was reported by the center's press service.
The center is open to anyone looking to apply their skills in the military: drivers, medics, technicians, and pilots capable of operating FPV drones.
Among the benefits offered by the center:
the ability to complete all necessary paperwork on-site, including for signing a contract under the '18-24' initiative – from personal files to psychological testing;
a full range of services that were previously only available through in-person visits to the office in Kyiv.
It is noted that the center is staffed by combat veterans who can provide valuable insights to recruits about selecting positions in the Defense Forces.
“Working at the train station is indeed effective. Our candidates who wish to enlist and cannot travel to Kyiv come and get registered at our mobile points, and they are enlisted into the land forces,” says senior officer of the recruitment department, Dmytro Andriychyk.
If a person wants to serve specifically in Odesa, it is indeed possible:
“We will not be looking for positions, for instance, in the Kyiv region or Sumy direction. We will specifically search for the city of Odesa.”
