On August 20, 2025, instructors from the non-profit organization «Association of Sappers of Ukraine» conducted training seminars for educators and children at Odessa preschools No. 137 and 300, focusing on preventing risks associated with landmines and unexploded ordnance.

The primary goal of this event was to enhance the safety of both children and adults, instill safe behavior to avoid threats posed by landmines and explosive devices, and outline the appropriate actions during shelling.

The non-profit organization «Association of Sappers of Ukraine» implements various humanitarian projects in the field of mine action, including public education on the risks posed by landmines and explosive materials. In partnership with The Mines Advisory Group (MAG) and funded by the UK Foreign Office, the organization is executing the project "Capacity Building in Ukraine, including Non-Technical Survey of Areas and Risk Mitigation from Explosive Hazards.”
