From August 10 to 17, the Ukrainian shooting championship for young athletes born in 2002 and younger was held in Vinnytsia.

The Odesa region was represented by athletes from the Complex Children's and Youth Sports School No. 3 and the regional shooting sports school.

In the 50-meter prone small-bore rifle event for men, the champion was Ivan Tkalenko (regional sports school), while Ilya Ananyev (Sports School No. 3) secured a bronze medal.

In the MG-5 event (shooting from three positions), Ivan Tkalenko won a silver medal, and the team consisting of Ivan Tkalenko, Danila Ananyev, and Yegor Mosuzenko took home bronze medals.

In the 50-meter prone small-bore rifle event for women, the bronze medals were awarded to the Odesa team, including Ksenia Gerasymova (Sports School No. 3), Olga Rudik, and Kateryna Nikonенко (regional shooting sports school).

The athletes were trained by coaches Olga Chikalo and Svitlana Skachko.
