Odessa's Canine Crisis: Injured Dog Receives Urgent Care

On July 9, 2025, in Odessa, patrol officers Mykola Morozov and Serhiy Onufran received an alarming report of a dog lying injured on Lvivska Street.

Upon arrival, they found that the animal had severe injuries, likely from gunshots.

Working together with the reporter, volunteers, and the director of the Odessa Zoo, they managed to carefully transport the dog to a veterinary clinic.

The dog is currently under close medical supervision and is in stable condition.

Investigators have opened a criminal case under Article 299 (Cruelty to Animals) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
