Accessibility Enhancements in Odesa

Since the beginning of the year, Odesa has installed 71 new ramps at pedestrian crossings. The city has approved an action plan for creating an accessible environment for 2025-2026. The implementation of the initiatives is overseen by the Accessibility Council under the Mayor of Odesa.

Municipal specialists from the "City Roads" enterprise are actively engaged in the installation of ramps throughout Odesa.

As of early 2025, a total of 71 ramps have been established (Primorsky district - 51, Khadyzhibey district - 9, Kyiv district - 4, Peresyp district - 7).

As part of the Accessibility Program, 29 ramps have been established since May 1, 2025 (Primorsky district - 22, Khadyzhibey district - 3, Kyiv district - 2, Peresyp district - 2).

Additionally, tactile paving has been installed on 16 ramps (Primorsky district - 11, Khadyzhibey district - 3, Kyiv district - 2).
