Odessa is actively enhancing its international relations with communities that share our values of solidarity, openness, and a commitment to peace.

New geographical names have been added to the memorial of sister cities in Odessa: Mainz, Heidelberg, and Taita Taveta (Republic of Kenya).

“The place we stand now represents our great international family. This year, we welcomed two German cities—Mainz and Heidelberg—as our partners. These fire trucks are a gift to our city, three from Mainz and two from Bristol, UK. We are sincerely grateful for this assistance and hope that a sign from Bristol will appear soon,” said Odessa's mayor, Gennady Trukhanov.

Odessa continues to develop cooperation with cities across Europe, America, Asia, and Africa. Each new partnership adds another voice in support of Ukraine.
