The celebration of City Day in Odessa culminated in a massive concert on Deribasivska Street, attracting thousands of locals and visitors.

“This year’s celebration was unprecedented: from Venice to Vancouver, from Berlin to Baltimore. In countries like France, Austria, Germany, the USA, Canada, and the UK, countless cities and thousands of people celebrated alongside Odessa. We received heartfelt greetings from European commissioners, Bundestag deputies, British lords, and mayors of European capitals. Odessa is not just a point on the map. It’s a rhythm. It’s style. It’s humor. It’s freedom. Most importantly, it’s us together. Here, on Deribasivska, we will celebrate with Kalush! This group has become a symbol of modern Ukrainian music. Their voice echoes around the world. Today, Kalush performs for Odessa. Happy City Day, Odessa!” - said the Mayor of Odessa, Gennady Trukhanov.

During the concert, leading dance ensembles from Odessa, students from art schools, and talented vocalists showcased exquisite classical performances and vibrant modern routines.

Special guests of the evening included the band JAZZ INSIDE, creating an atmospheric jazz vibe, and MUAYAD – finalist in the national selection for “Eurovision-2025.”

The highlight of the evening was the performance by the legendary band Kalush Orchestra, which delivered unforgettable emotions.
