Odesa's Winter Preparedness Meeting

The Mayor of Odesa, Gennady Trukhanov, held a crucial meeting with leaders of essential services in heat, water, gas, and electricity supply. The primary focus was to assess the city's readiness for the winter season.

According to reports from company executives, the preparations are at their final stage. All boiler plants are ready to operate, and final regulatory works are ongoing.

Eleven cogeneration machines have been installed and are currently being connected. By the end of the year, six additional units are expected to arrive as per the schedule agreed with international partners.

Educational and medical institutions have been provided with alternative energy sources.

DTEK has made provisions for emergency material reserves and has a clear action plan in case of potential attacks on the energy infrastructure.

Representatives from OdesaGas confirmed that the gas supply is sufficient for a stable heating season.

“We face another challenging winter. We all understand the conditions we will encounter. However, we have proven that we can endure!” emphasized the Mayor of Odesa.

The city authorities continue to enhance Odesa's energy resilience and urge residents to support each other and be prepared to act together in the face of challenges.
