Odesa Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov visited the residential complex on Prince Yaroslav the Wise Avenue, 32 at the invitation of the residents of the HOA «White House».

During the severe weather on September 30, 2025, the parking lot of the complex was completely flooded, damaging the electrical, water, heating systems, and the fire safety system of the 24-story building.

At the request of the mayor, energy companies managed to temporarily restore electricity to the building while the life-support systems are being restored.

«We sincerely thank the construction company “Stikon” for stepping in and purchasing electrical equipment for the building at their own expense. Pumps are currently being installed to ensure water supply to the upper floors. I am assured, and I truly hope that by Thursday, water will return to the residents. However, it will take more time to fully restore heating and fire safety systems,» — noted Odesa Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov.

The building on Prince Yaroslav the Wise Avenue, 32 was damaged during a hostile attack in February of this year. At that time, a children’s clinic was also damaged, and a kindergarten was destroyed. Currently, the restoration projects for both damaged facilities are undergoing expert review, and the demolition of the kindergarten is ongoing; a new kindergarten will be built in its place.
