Odesa's Response to Flooding During Heavy Rains

Odesa has begun implementing changes in public transport with the introduction of new buses as part of the Ministry of Development's project «Shoulder to Shoulder: United Communities».
Starting January 5, 2026, existing social routes will continue, and new routes that replicate the city's electric transport routes will be introduced. These routes provide free travel for residents.
«Railway Station – 28th Brigade Street» (operating in case of tram service interruptions).
Buses will operate between Starosinna Square (railway station) and 28th Brigade Street. The schedule includes departures from 06:00 to 19:30 at intervals of 10-15 minutes during peak hours.
«Architectural Street – Railway Station»
This new route provides connections between Architectural Street and the railway station, with departures from 06:00 to 19:00.
«Sviatoslav Richter Street – Dihtyarna Street»
Buses will run from Sviatoslav Richter Street to Mendel Moikher-Sforim Square, with regular departures throughout the day.
«Tiraspol Highway – Dihtyarna Street»
This route connects Tiraspol Highway with Dihtyarna Street, with regular departures from 06:30 to 18:00.
«Inglezi Street – Richelieu Street»
A new route that duplicates trolleybus route No. 9, with departure times from 06:30 to 19:00.
«Kanatna Street (Kulikovo Field) – 14th Station of Great Fountain»
Buses will run between Kanatna and the 14th Station of Great Fountain with frequent departures.
