Visit to the Wrestling Club in Odesa Region
Officials from the Ministry of Youth and Sports visit the Odesa Greco-Roman wrestling club as part of a new experimental project.
Yesterday, the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleg Kiper, along with the Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, Vitaliy Kovalev, and the head of the State Fisheries Agency, Vladyslav Neveselyi, held a meeting with agricultural producers in Odesa. This was reported by the press service of the Odesa OVA.
Key topics included irrigation, which is crucial for our region, as well as livestock, agro-processing, and fisheries. Other areas of discussion included selection, development of agricultural education, construction of vegetable storage facilities, and support for domestic winemaking. Additionally, a new irrigation system was launched in the Odesa district yesterday.
The irrigation system provides watering for over 12,200 hectares of agricultural land. The total length of the main canals is 120 km. The farm consists of 47 pumping stations that supply water to a closed irrigation system. Moreover, they visited agro-industrial enterprises to familiarize themselves with production capacities and engage with the staff of the companies.
