Financial Resources Directed Towards Reconstruction Efforts

On June 23, during an extraordinary meeting, the government announced the allocation of over 22 billion UAH in financial resources provided by partners for reconstruction needs.

This was reported by the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal.

Nearly 18.5 billion UAH from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) will be directed towards the needs of healthcare, education, agriculture, humanitarian demining, and the restoration of municipal infrastructure.

Approximately 1.4 billion UAH from JICA will be dedicated to energy sector recovery and training of deminers working to clear Ukrainian land of mines.

Additionally, around 2.2 billion UAH in budget support from the European Union will be allocated for the reconstruction and modernization of port infrastructure.
