Water Supply Alternatives in Odesa
Overview of the water supply situation in Odesa and alternative water sources during the power outage.
As of November 25, 2023, Ukrainian farmers have completed the sowing of winter crops on an area of 6,429.9 thousand hectares, which is 98.1% of the planned areas. This information was reported by the Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture of Ukraine.
Specifically, winter wheat was sown on 4,692.8 thousand hectares, winter barley on 586.1 thousand hectares, and winter rye on 66.3 thousand hectares.
The leaders in grain sowing are Chernivtsi and Cherkasy regions.
Grain sowing has been completed in Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia, Transcarpathian, Ivano-Frankivsk, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Poltava, Rivne, and Chernihiv regions.
Agricultural producers in all regions have nearly finished sowing winter rapeseed, totaling 1,084.7 thousand hectares, which is 96.5% of the planned areas.
