Ukrainian Veteran Team Competes in US Sports Trials
The Ukrainian national veteran team is participating in annual sports trials for injured service members in the USA.
As of November 21, 2025, Ukraine has harvested 50.93 million tons of grain from an area of 10.23 thousand hectares, with 88% of the area harvested.
This information was provided by the Ministry of Economy, Environment, and Agriculture.
Specifically, 22.96 million tons of wheat were harvested from 5.05 million hectares, 5.42 million tons of barley (1.36 million hectares), 672.5 thousand tons of peas (275.1 thousand hectares), and 20.84 million tons of corn (3.12 million hectares), which constitutes 71% of the sown areas.
In addition, 896.5 thousand tons of other grains and legumes were collected from an area of 327.6 thousand hectares.
Leading the harvest are farmers in Chernihiv region, who have gathered over 4.57 million tons of grain from an area of 637.90 thousand hectares. They are followed by farmers in Khmelnytskyi with 4.89 million tons (574.7 thousand hectares), Vinnytsia with 4.26 million tons (679.3 thousand hectares), and Odesa with 4.06 million tons (1.2 million hectares).
For oilseeds, a total of 17.05 million tons have been harvested. This includes 9.01 million tons of sunflower from 4.79 million hectares, 4.72 million tons of soybeans (1.98 million hectares), and 3.31 million tons of rapeseed (1.26 million hectares).
In total, 92% of the sown area for sunflowers has been harvested, 96% for soybeans, and the rapeseed harvest is complete.
Additionally, 9.96 million tons of sugar beets have been harvested from an area of 186.6 thousand hectares, which represents 94% of the sown area.
