New Phase of Cooperation with the IMF in Ukraine

Today, the International Monetary Fund mission commenced its work in Ukraine alongside government representatives to kick off a new extended funding program. This was reported by the IMF office in Ukraine.
The IMF's permanent representative in Ukraine, Priscilla Tofano, stated that the mission led by Gavin Gray has begun discussions with Ukrainian authorities regarding the initiation of a new Extended Fund Facility (EFF) program.
"The discussions will focus on the government's economic policy objectives, emphasizing both fiscal and monetary policies to ensure stability amid ongoing high uncertainty, as well as structural measures aimed at enhancing governance, combating corruption, and supporting economic growth," said Tofano.
