On February 26, 2025, a significant meeting took place at the Odessa City Hall, where issues related to the funding of the healthcare system in Odessa were discussed with representatives of the Health Department and medical facilities.

Denys Chornyi, head of the Southern Interregional Department of NHIF, emphasized that the Odessa region is a leader in Ukraine in terms of the number of contracts signed within the medical guarantees program.

The meeting provided updated information on the funding of the medical guarantees program, discussed new service packages, and changes in financing. Among the key updates is the increase in the basic tariff for primary healthcare services from UAH 786.65 to UAH 844.4. The work with patients who have not sought medical help for three years was also analyzed.

New algorithms for the operation of expert teams that replaced the MSEC were discussed, as well as mental health services at both inpatient and outpatient levels. New directions for expanding medical assistance to veterans and the reimbursement program for medications were presented.
