The Odessa regional state administration announces that a new field has been added to the Prozorro system, allowing purchasers to justify the necessity of their procurements. This innovation will enable them to explain the need for specific purchases in advance.

This feature will also assist the monitoring group preparing materials for the meetings of the working group on "Transparency and Accountability" to understand purchasers' arguments and clarify the benefits of procurements to the public.

Such innovations will enhance communication between the state, purchasers, and society during the war.

“Purchasers now have a tool that allows them to explain the importance of their procurement to the public in advance. Previously, they had to respond to criticism only after the fact,” noted Mykola Tkachenko, director of the State Enterprise "Prozorro".
