Celebrating Alexey Agopyan: A Milestone in Theater

Alexey Agopyan's 65th anniversary gathered friends and admirers of his talent at the «Clown House» theater in Odesa.
With a rich artistic career, he has played numerous roles in theater, film, and television shows. His most famous character is pilot Drinkins from the legendary show «Kalambur». For over 45 years, his journey has taken him from a student theater group to the executive director of «Comedy Troupe “MASKS”». Today, he not only performs but also generously shares his experiences with young comedians. During the «BenyaFis» celebration, his students honored him with a performance from a new play.
The event was filled with jokes, gifts, and greetings from around the globe. One of the celebrant's creative dreams came true right on stage.
«I want to thank Odesa for being such a remarkable and unique city, and I am fortunate to have been born here,» expressed Alexey Agopyan.
In recognition of his significant contributions to theater arts and on the occasion of his 65th birthday celebrated on October 9, Alexey Migranovich Agopyan was awarded the Honorary Certificate of the Mayor of Odesa «Gratitude». The award was presented by Ivan Liptuga, director of the Department of International Cooperation, Culture, and Marketing, along with advisor Elena Pavlova.
«You are a true brand of Odesa, strong and enduring — over 40 years of success. May you continue to thrive for many more years. Wishing you robust health and new creative achievements,» Ivan Liptuga congratulated the celebrant.
