Authorities are investigating the circumstances of a fatal road accident that took place in Odesa near Shevchenko Park. A woman driving an Audi struck a man at an uncontrolled pedestrian crossing.

This was reported by the press service of the National Police of Ukraine.

The incident happened yesterday, February 9, around 4 PM on Hetman Sahaidachnyi Boulevard. According to Dmytro Sliuta, head of the transport crime investigation department of the National Police in the Odesa region, it has been preliminarily established that a 33-year-old female driver of the Audi hit a man who was crossing the road at an uncontrolled pedestrian crossing. The victim succumbed to his injuries.
