A tragic car accident occurred near the Peresyp Bridge, resulting in the death of a woman. The incident took place yesterday, March 4, around 7 PM.

The head of the transportation crime investigation department of the Odesa region police, Dmytro Slyuta, reported that a 53-year-old driver of a DAF truck, while driving along Otaman Holovaty Street towards Balkivska Street, struck a woman who was crossing the road at that moment.

"Unfortunately, the victim, whose identity is currently being established, succumbed to her injuries," the police stated.
