They promised their client a certificate for caring for a 'sick' father, who turned out to be healthy. Law enforcement apprehended the offenders while receiving the initial bribe of $5,000.
Investigators documented all aspects of the crime, after which the case was referred to court. The men face up to five years in prison for abuse of power and receiving illicit benefits.
